Flambeau River Gift Shoppe, LLC is located in the Northern Wisconsin town of Ladysmith. We moved from our Lake Avenue location, across from the Rusk County Courthouse, to downtown, on Miner Avenue, across from the City Hall in November 2009. With all our extra space at our convenient new location, we are opening The Lunchbox, a small café, serving freshly ground coffee daily, cold sandwiches, and soup. Now that you know our location, I’ll tell you a bit about us and our shop. We are an independently owned family business. We opened our doors in February of 2007. The corporation, that I had been employed by for a few decades, closed the local gift store they owned. This ended the availability of many popular and heavily patronized product lines and services. We decided it would be worthwhile to keep these products lines available

at our new business. These lines include: Burt’s Bees, Yankee Candles, JW Stannard Wind chimes, Avanti & Leanin’ Tree Cards, Mason Vitamins to name a few. In addition to those lines, we added the new services of: Whitech digital photo kiosk, Kendall-Hartcraft Custom Framing, tuxedo rentals, photo assistance and editing, and even a roll film mail-in service (that

was no longer available locally).

Our goal is to provide diverse products and services, during easily

accessible business

hours at reasonable prices. Our hope is that these conveniences will promote the local community to ‘shop local’ at not just our shoppe, but at all the local businesses. We are a community proud business and a member of the Greater Ladysmith Area Chamber of Commerce. We welcome you to visit

Flambeau River Gift Shoppe, LLC is loaded with unique and neatly displayed items. You can still receive personal friendly service and even get your purchase gift wrapped for free. This is not a service that you can find at many stores any longer.

We are a passionate supporter of our local Rusk County Animal Shelter and have been for many years prior. We have a section in our shop where we sell items for shelter fundraising. To help fund the building of a new shelter, we currently have a digital frame that runs a slide show of favorite pet pictures. For $1 per image, we will add your favorite pet/pets pictures to the slide show. Free photo editing is available on the pictures, so send us your favorite pictures! The slogan for the fundraising that is being done for the new building is: “Woof! Woof! Raise the Roof!". When we opened The Lunchbox, we started another fundraiser. Instead of customers tipping, we aksed that they donate that money to the Animal Shelter Building Fund. So far, as of August 2011, we have collected over $1400

thanks to our customers!

Our other passions include: photography (of which we are more than willing to assist you with any of your digital photo questions or concerns), our community, kids, and pets.
